I Can Swim!

Well, on our third trip to the swimming pool, we were successful in getting Caleb to enjoy it! While Darrin's family was in town, we got to go swimming at their hotel, and he loved it. We spent probably an hour in the pool. He loved "frog kicking" his legs in the water. On his own he put his face in the water and didn't even cry. By the end of our time in the pool, we were able to dunk him under the water, and while he was shocked, he wasn't upset. We are so glad that we finally got him to enjoy swimming!

Happy Father's Day!!!

We celebrated a terrific first Father's Day with Darrin. Caleb enjoyed getting to spend as much time as possible with his daddy. We enjoyed a wonderful church service, Darrin got to shoot 4 baskets of balls at the driving range, we had a nice meal of steaks with my family, and just enjoyed spending the day together. It was another blessed event!

Jump Frog, Jump!!!

Caleb's new favorite activity is jumping in his jumper. He likes to always be moving, and he always has a big smile on hs face in his jumper! Here's a video of him enjoying his jumper.

Six Months Old and Still Growing!

Wow! It's hard to believe that Caleb is six months old. He is changing everyday! We had his six month check up, and he weighs 20 pounds 12 ounces and is 28 inches long. He doesn't look like a baby anymore! He is progressing well with everything, but the pediatrician is a little worried that he is not sitting up on his own yet, so we have been hard at work to increase his trunk strength. We are getting ready for his Baptism on June 28th, so we are really excited!

Lots of New Experiences!

Caleb got to go on his first horseback ride the other day. He loved sitting up there on that big horse. He had such a smile on his face!

He also got to take his first trip to the pool over Memorial Day weekend. This was not as big of a hit as the horse. He did not want anything to do with the cold pool water. As soon as we stuck just his toes in, he started crying. Hopefully, the next trip to the pool will be more fun for him!

So Many Things to Celebrate...

My first Mother's Day with Caleb couldn't have been better. We went to church with my whole family and then had a fun cookout at my parents' house. It was so special to get to spend my first Mother's Day as a mom with my mom!

Darrin enjoyed celebrating his birthday for the first time as a dad. Caleb, however, felt the excitment was just too much for him! =)

We also got to celebrate my brother Patrick's (Uncle Pat) High School Graduation!
