Moving Right Along!

Well, we're not quite crawling yet, but we are trying really hard. Caleb works so hard and wants to move so badly. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth and can't seem to figure out why he can't go anywhere. He's now figured out how to scoot both his legs forward at the same time, but when you don't move your arms, you end up on your face. He doesn't give up though!

As some of you know, we have been quite worried since Caleb's 6 month check up because he has not been able to sit up. We worked and worked on it. Two days ago, we sat him up, and you can see what happened! He's not a fully independent sitter, but he's getting close.

All that exercise is hard work!

Summer Fun

We have been having so much fun this summer. Caleb's personality is really starting to come out. He's definitely a little ham! I don't think anyone could be unhappy seeing that smile and hearing his laugh...it is contagious. His favorite summer activity so far is swimming. He's turning into quite a little fish. He frog kicks and splashes with his arms non stop. Lately, he even dips his face in the water on his own!

Caleb went to his first ounty 4H fair a couple weeks ago. He was fascinated by the animals, but even more interested in the food. He can't wait to eat "people food". He just stares at our food when we are eating and even works his mouth like his chewing! I knew he would have to take after me in some way!

We also spent a wonderful day at the park with some of my friends from high school. Caleb loved being outside and crawling around on the picnic blanket. He also got his first bug bites.
