HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

We enjoyed a nice, relaxing first Halloween with Caleb. Grandma Rita, Grandpa Mike, and Aunt Michaela all came over to celebrate with us. We had pizza and handed out candy to the trick-or-treaters (the few that we had). Caleb enjoyed greeting all the kids at the door and spent the evening racing around the house being the center of attention!

Lucky little boy even gets Halloween gifts!

All our little Jack-O-Lanterns

Fall Fun

Me and my sweetie enjoying the brisk fall weather!

Believe it or not, Caleb was so tired one day that he fell sound asleep in his highchair WHILE I was feeding him lunch! Poor guy!

Pumpkin Carving Fun

When it came time to clean out the pumpkins, Caleb was not at all sure about touching the "goop" from inside the pumpkin. Eventually we got him to play with it a little bit. He also drew the face on his pumpkin (with some help), and I think he did a great job on his first Jack-O-Lantern!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend. The weather was beautiful, and we had a great time. Caleb seemed to enjoy it. Of course, his favorite part was getting to watch the tractor on the hay ride.

John Deere Green

Caleb got to have his first ride on a combine this weekend. He had a ball and talked the whole time he was shelling corn! He's definitely his daddy's boy - he's all about wheels, machines, and gadgets.

New family member - Caleb's new Aunt!

I am just going to preface this so that there is no confusion...this is my parent's new dog (not mine). As we say, it's Caleb's new Aunt! Her name is Vonny, and she's 10 months old. She's a german shepherd/collie/? mix.

Having fun at home

He actually fell asleep like this!

I left him unattended for a minute too long, and he got into the diaper bag and opened up his can of puffs. When I found him he was picking up handfuls and trying to put them in his mouth.

Jumping in the jumper is hardwork - he slept like this for 20 minutes!

We finally had to take the clippers to his hair - he did NOT like it. Lots of tears! This was a good hour after the hair cut trauma.

Daddy makes the best pillow! It's hard t believe, looking at his size, that he's only 9 1/2 months old!

Yummy, yummy sweet potatoes!
